MUSIC DIRECTOR IN A RADIO STATION

       A music director holds their office on a radio station where they managers ,the music that is being played in the station.In order to work perfectly  the music director  he works closely with the program director
The duties of a music director includes:he might spend  time with the recording label for promotions,he also does marketing research for the station and also determine the songs that the audience are to listen.
 He also works  jointly with the stores managers to find out which are the most latest music ,the popular in record releases and the new musics.He also helps the disc jockey to get a feeling and guideline of the station proceducing..

For one to be a music director must have a  college  training or a degree in broadcasting  school training,if its a college he/she should have chosen courses such as communication,journalism,music and broadcasting

The choir director sets up the the choirs for services ,he might also play as the organizer of the services,further more of  just being in charge of the choir.
the choir director  also supervises other church music department and helps were he can assist in the ministry,he chooses those who will be in the choir by holding audition  for those who are willing to sing in the choir.
The director  also search for auditions  singers,to act as his helpers(sector leader) assistant conductors or soloists.He also prepares for rehearsal time and is always available in  each rehearsal.
The director chooses songs that will be sang  during services,ensure it is compitiable for  the sermon or any other  occasion,he also looks for other activities e.g concerts and church activities ,planning  and rehearsal to make  sure everything run smoothly.
The director budgets all the  choirs needs to meet its needs of music program.
In order to maintain a smooth program running through out in the  choir the director  hold holds maintain of  office for some days in a week,to work with the groups of singers.He might  also write  music  for the choir.
